Anxi Tieguanyin (Iron Goddess of Mercy) is a celebrated variety of oolong tea from Anxi, recognized as one of China’s top ten famous teas. It is renowned for its “lasting fragrance through seven infusions.”
Tieguanyin production began in Anxi, Fujian, over a thousand years ago during the late Tang dynasty, where local tea farmers first created this exceptional tea.
Our selected Tieguanyin comes from China’s “Number One Tea Town,” a pristine high-mountain region. Each batch is hand-roasted over a gentle charcoal fire and refined slowly, allowing its aroma to linger beautifully long after tasting.
Grown in high elevations with dramatic day–night temperature differences, the tea develops gradually, allowing beneficial compounds to accumulate. This results in an exceptionally aromatic tea with remarkable endurance and a long, elegant aftertaste. Fewer pests thrive in the high mountains as well, making pesticides unnecessary.
Charcoal-roasted Tieguanyin undergoes a higher degree of oxidation. The resulting liquor is bright golden, with a rich, mellow flavor and a long-lasting sweetness. Its layered aromas are famously indescribable—hence its poetic reputation as “Guanyin Rhyme.”

經過炭焙的鐵觀音發酵度較高，湯色金黃明亮，滋味醇厚，回甘悠久，層次豐富的香氣，因筆墨難以形容，故被稱為「觀音韻」。
